ANNIE

Great show!

VERY ENJOYABLE

It's tough to pull off a musical that we all grew up singing, and even tougher to do it when it was a very well done movie, but this rendition succeeds. Good performances throughout, with exceptionally strong performances by the actresses playing Grace and Miss Hannigan. Beautiful sets came and went in a 95% smooth opening night. I can't imagine a better thing to take your kids to, or a better way to introduce them to musicals in general.

QUITE ENJOYABLE

Wonderful performances by the cast, the set design was lovely, and overall the show was engaging, in spite of the predictability inherent in a show of this nature. I recommend it!

REVIEW FOR SENIORS

I am 78 years old and saw ANNIE at the Fisher for the first time. The cast was first rate and the music was timeless. Because the story takes place in the thirties the younger audience did not appreciate the historical humor and some of the jokes fell on deaf ears. I on the other hand loved the humor. We sat in the balcony and the voices were so loud I couldn't understand all of the lyrics especially when the children were singing. I don't know if it was because we were in the balcony or not. Very enjoyable afternoon. I wondered why there was a ventriloquist on the radio. That struck my funny bone (old humor) and I laughed about it later. The loud voices was the reason for the 4 instead of 5.
